One of the things that I have had to get used to since moving to the country, is limescale build ups in the kettle, the toilet bowls, the sinks… I deal with the kettle by using a natural vinegar solution which works really well and for the rest, well there is a good old pumice stone and a bit of old fashioned elbow grease.
Dampen a bog-standard pumice stone, the type you buy in a chemist to use on your feet, and rub away any limescale or scuff marks on your bath or sink. Then just rinse off with water and it disappears before your eyes. Pumice is the perfect hardness, so it breaks down the soft limescale without scratching the tougher porcelain or enamel.
